When I was working at a start-up marketing agency as their lead developer and project manager, I had my son, Fox, who unfortunately suffered a stroke at birth and was subsequently diagnosed with cerebral palsy, severe epilepsy and a vision impairment. That experience forced me to re-evaluate what was most important to me and the answer was clear: my family.
I left my position and began working for myself so that I could be the caregiver for my son and still do what I absolutely love without all that comes with working as a part of a company. This gave me the freedom to work with who I wanted, focus on small businesses that align with my views and ensure that I am always, always here for my family.
